New Coaching Requirements

NEW COACHING REQUIREMENTS

Coaching the younger age groups is crucial for player development. Recruiting parents to become coaches has always been a task and we trust that providing these new coaches with some essential tools will benefit them and foremost our players.

Your first step is to CLICK HERE to begin the online module.
**. From there coaches select the class (U6 select U6-U8 Youth Module PA West Online and U10 select U10-U12 Youth Module PA West Online) and with that, the online module can begin. Coaches can stop at any time and continue wherever they’ve left off later. At the very end, the certificate of completion needs to be printed. Coaches need to provide this receipt at the field session**

After completing your online portion, CLICK HERE to find a Field Session that fits your location/schedule.

This requirement is for all U6, U8 & U10 In-House coaches, well as U10 Travel and U10 Academy coaches

OR

Take the U.S . Soccer "F license". The license test is completely online

NEW PaWEST RISK MANAGEMENT/BACKGROUND CHECKS

CLICK HERE for instructions and links for the new, Pennsylvania state mandated background checks
**Coaches/parents will have to create individual accounts**
**Must be completed by July 1st to be eligible to coach in any PaWest program**
**Copies of completed forms must be turned in to EA Soccer**

ANY AND ALL COST FOR ANY BACKGROUND CHECKS and/or ANY COACHES TRAINING (up to and including "E license) WILL BE REIMBURSED BY EA SOCCER UPON COMPLETION (receipts/copies of clearances required)
